The Company
A subsidiary company of the City of Rome's Trambus Group, Trambus Open S.p.A., was jointly founded in 2003 by Trambus S.p.A., operator of Public Transport services in the Roman territory, and Les Cars Rouges, industry leaders of double decker bus-based tourism services in Paris.
Thanks to the quality and quantity of its services, Trambus Open is an industry leader not just in double decker bus-based tourism services, but in Italy as well.

Corporate Quality Policy
TRAMBUS OPEN S.p.A. is committed to providing a touristic transportation service based on the criteria of low cost, efficacy and efficiency.
In this context, the Company has identified the standard UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 guidelines that inspire and align their strategic choices to make:
- a reliable touristic transportation service, able to meet the needs of customers;
- pursue the continuous improvement of services, taking into account the best available technology consistent with the resources used.
The company therefore strives to achieve the following Objectives:
- Customer Satisfaction
Regularly monitor the level of customer satisfaction in order to adapt the services offered in terms of quality and quantity, and promptly resolve any complaints and inefficiencies.
- Staff Satisfaction and Development
Listening to employees, reinforcing the sense of belonging through the active and responsible participation necessary to create a thriving enterprise culture. Increase the abilities and professionalism of staff and cabin crew through an ongoing commitment to skills development.
- Communication
Disseminate to employees via appropriate channels the company strategies and performance, the principles expressed in the Corporate Quality Policy.
- Quality, Efficacy and Efficiency Monitoring
measure processes using appropriate indicators in order to analyze and verify the levels of efficiency and efficacy as well as to bring about eventual corrections.

- Awareness campaign and monitoring of suppliers and contractors
The quality of external suppliers has the same value as the quality persued in internal assets. For this reason, suppliers and contractors are selected and evaluated through a set of key performance indicators which draw on the quality of the provision of services . The company is committed to raising awareness and constantly monitoring the conduct of suppliers and contractors, identifying areas for collaboration as well as encouraging and supporting its partners so that they adopt behaviors and / or choices marked by the continuous improvement of services and processes, further benefiting the customer

The Fleet
The fleet is comprised of traditional double-decker buses and single deck topless buses, with 26 buses in total.

Since its inception, Trambus Open has transported more than 2.5 million tourists throught the wonders of Rome.
